The Uniform Project: Our Vision
Australian children spend over 40 hours each week in their school uniforms.
Yet most uniforms are made from 100% polyester - a plastic fabric derived from fossil fuels. This plastic contains bisphenols, endocrine disrupting phlatates and more. Polyester also uses harsh azo dyes for colour, containing formadelhyde.
The Uniform Project was created to offer schools a healthier, more sustainable alternative.
