How do I know my size?
We size by age so you can stick to the size for your age if that's what you normally wear.
Our fabrics are soft and flexible so if you are in between sizes we recommend sizing according to your needs. For example, if you want a firmer fit, size down and if you want more comfort, size up.

Which bras do you recommend for someoneâs first bra?
We always recommend comfort over all else with first bras. And many of our bras will work for many years as girls develop. The below 3 are great starting options:

What if it doesn't fit? Can I return it?
Yes. Being an online store we are very understanding of exchanges and returns and will make this easy for you. We want you to be 100% happy!
Please keep the tags on the product and ensure you get no make up or body products on them when trying them on at home.
If you need to make an exchange or return, please contact info@billiegreen.com.au with your order number and request. Exchanges are free of charge. Returns are also free if you are keeping at least one item in your order.
If you are returning all items we simply deduct a $8 restocking fee from your refund but we will send you a complimentary shipping label.

Are Billie Green bras padded?
We donât use padding because your body doesnât need it to be supported or comfortable. Instead, Billie Green bras are double-layered with premium, naturally soft fabrics like Lenzing⢠Modal, Lenzing⢠Lyocell, and organic cotton to give coverage and modesty without adding bulk or trapping heat.
Padding is usually made from 100% fossil-fuel-based plastic foam, which can shed microplastics, hold odours, and take hundreds of years to break down.
By skipping it, we create bras that are lighter, healthier for your skin, and kinder to the planetâwhile still giving you the support you need.
Why don't you use polyester or nylon in fabrics?
We avoid polyester and nylon because theyâre 100% plastic, shed microplastics into your skin and the ocean, trap heat, and never break down in landfill.
Instead, we use natural, breathable fabrics that are healthier for you and the planet.

Why are your products more expensive?
We have sourced incredible fabrics for our young people, but these come at a cost. Our products are also double-layered, with careful attention to seamless stitching and encased, quality elastic. We are doing our best to keep our prices as low as possible. Being an online store also helps us to do this.
We are also less than half the price of some brands like Lululemon, Lorna Jane etc that use 100% synthetic (cheap plastic) fibres in their bras and briefs.
We also encourage you to buy better but buy less overall. Our products are thoughtfully designed to grow with you.

Are your products good for sensitive skin?
Yes â theyâre made for it. Our bras are crafted from premium, plant-based fabrics like Lenzing⢠Modal, Lenzing⢠Lyocell, and organic cotton, all of which are naturally breathable, hypoallergenic, and gentle on skin. Every fabric we use is OEKO-TEXÂŽ Standard 100 certified, meaning itâs been tested and proven free from harmful chemicals.
With no scratchy seams, no toxic dyes, and zero synthetic padding, theyâre soft, safe, and comfortable for even the most sensitive skin.
How do I wash my bras?
The best thing about Billie Green fabrics is that you can air out between wears, without having to wash. Our fabrics don't trap odours like synthetics do!
Every 3-5 wears, put them in a wash bag and machine wash them on a short cold cycle, then leave to air dryer inside.
If your bra has detachable straps you can remove these before washing to extend the life of them, if they aren't dirty.
