Hi! I'm Caroline

I'm a mum of 3 based on the NSW South Coast and I started Billie Green after working in the apparel industry and noticing how much plastic is in the products our young people are wearing. Big brands are charging consumers insane prices for cheaply made products that have fabrics derived from 100% fossil fuels. These petrochemicals form plastics that leach microplastics into our bodies and the ocean. They also irritate skin and trap odours.

Research from leading universities both here and abroad and organisations like the Minderoo Foundation, is increasingly showing the harm that is being caused, particularly in terms of endocrine disruption and fertility. And our young people are most vulnerable.

I have been working the last 2 years with leading bra designers and technicians to bring you incredible fabrics with sustainable, interchangeable designs that grow with our young people.

I also run an award-winning sustainable eyewear brand called Ozeano.

At Billie Green, your wellbeing - and the wellbeing of the planet - comes first. We believe that each young person deserves undergarments that are comfortable, safe, and feel great. We’re committed to making the journey into finding that first bra and beyond, simple, honest, and empowering.

The intimate apparel and active wear industry is saturated with unnecessary plastics, toxic dyes and polyurethane foam padding. It's harmful to our health and the ocean. So we're here to change that!

We have been working for years to source incredible next gen fabrics that give you the performance you want for intimates (moisture-wicking, breathability and anti-bacterial) without the heat-trapping, toxic synthetics. These fabrics are even better than cotton in hot climates, because cotton holds moisture. And in sports bras, cotton requires more spandex to retain its support and shape.
